Burghclere Primary School has its own brass band. This has been a part of the school's history for almost sixty years. The band meets every Monday for rehearsals after school. They play at school celebrations and events, at the local church and, last year, performed at the Corn Exchange in Newbury as part of the Newbury Spring Festival.

The school has an active band committee, who raise funds and work with Good Vibes Music Academy to provide free music tuition for all our Year 3 children. They organise opportunities for the children to play with the Watership Brass Band and attend concerts to watch other brass musicians.

Our brass band is very special, and many members continue to play when they leave school- and often come back to join in with performances!
