At Burghclere, we take teaching children about how to be safe online very seriously. Lessons in our Computing curriculum teach children how to keep themselves safe, to use the internet safely and responsibly, and how to report something that makes them uncomfortable or upset. These messages are also reinforced through assemblies, PSHE lessons and focus events like Safer Internet Day. 

We understand that supporting children in this area can be very challenging for parents and we offer advice through regular online safety newsletters, our school newsletters and parent workshops. The following links will also be useful for parents.
